I'll keep an eye on this and remove the asterisk next to the GOG release in the OP when it changes. According to what the developer said in the game's Discord channel, it will get the patch soon but it's out of their hands to some degree, evidently. Side note: last I read, the GOG version has not yet been updated to Afterlife.
#Astalon tears of the earth wiki how to
For now, I'm enjoying thinking about how to spec the character and look forward to seeing more of the game. There still are a few rough edges here and there but none so far that have really affected my overall feelings on the game/update. I'll have to hit the wiki some to figure out which I'd prefer.

The two main multi-class options with a finesse focus seem to be Assassin and Noble. On the flip side, the abilities they get seem really good and expand that weapon's play style more than for other classes. The Acolyte uses a scythe and their weapon-specific class talents all seem to improve scythe abilities, unlike most other classes which include multiple. Some trees also seem to have a narrower focus than others, like the Acolyte's. I take it the idea was to have you think about synergistic weapon combinations once you can pick a second class talent tree to spec into. Compared to pre-patch, it also feels like stamina is a bit less of a consideration, but I might be imagining that.īeing able to try out the classes and their default weapon before choosing was a smart decision, especially because the new class-specific talent tree tends to include weapon focuses now. Combat feels more fluid with the changes they made and you get more air time as well as control when jumping, which is nice. Played some of this last night, up to Central Sanctuary, and I've been enjoying it a good deal overall.
